
SAINTSABIO is a New York City-based fashion label founded by creative director Sabio. Originally conceived nearly a decade ago as an inside joke between friends, the brand’s name combines “saint” with the Spanish word “sabio,” meaning wisdom, a sarcastic nickname given to the founder during his late-teen years immersed in nightlife, underground music scenes and warehouse parties.
Drawing inspiration from rave culture, dance-punk, motocross aesthetics, and early underground club scenes, SAINTSABIO blends oversized silhouettes, distressed detailing, custom hardware, and tailored construction with a raw, lived-in sensibility rooted in personal experience rather than trend-driven design. Much of the brand’s identity stems from Sabio’s early years modifying his own clothing by hand through distressing, patchwork, flaring denim, and DIY alterations long before officially entering fashion.
After more than a decade working within the music industry, SAINTSABIO formally emerged as an extension of the founder’s creative world, merging fashion, nightlife, and music into a single evolving platform. The brand operates through limited releases, capsule collections, custom pieces, and artist collaborations, while maintaining a strong connection to underground youth culture and after-hours energy.
Though still in its early stages, SAINTSABIO has already received support from artists and cultural figures including The Weeknd, Sara Landry, Anyma, Nina Kraviz, and JOVYNN through the brand’s accessories, custom work, and growing creative network.
SAINTSABIO continues to expand its presence through fashion, music, and nightlife initiatives, with future plans including showroom presentations, runway collections, immersive events under its Club Santo platform, and a broader multidisciplinary vision spanning design, furniture, and creative direction. While rooted in rebellion and chaos, the brand also maintains a focus on supporting Latin American communities and immigrant initiatives across North America.
